It's been 10 years since the events of cats and dogs first film. In that film union members are frustrated MEOWZ feline spy in their efforts to defeat the spy organization and seize DOGZ Canine world. In dogs and cats: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, a threat so great opposing forces of the two agencies to work together to save the world. In the process the filmmakers have given nods to classic spy and crime movies like James Bond, Batman and The Silence of the Lambs.
The threat comes as a super spy MEOWZ former Kitty Galore (fantastic voice work of Bette Midler). Salt of the spy agency MEOWZ because of their radical ideas and methods, this cat has resurfaced with a vote to eliminate all dogs and humans on earth.
His contempt can be traced to two recent developments. The first event is losing his hair over exuberant when a dog is pushed into a vat of hair removal (as the joker in the first Batman movie). His new owners refer to their appearance as bald as a chicken "crude." The second event occurred when the previous owners of the house fell down in the snow and cold Christmas Day.
With these events humiliating as their motivation, Kitty Galore hatches a diabolical plan to unleash a sound that will all the dogs to turn on its owner. But although Kitty would immediately push the button and implement their revenge, as a good criminal unsightly world domination takes a few days to build suspense. This gives agents and time MEOWZ DOGZ stumble with their plan.

For reasons not disclosed, the agency DOGZ is forced to pin their hopes on a new recruit named Diggs (voiced by actor James Marsden), and his moody fellow veteran Butch (Nick Nolte in 48 Hours old movie voice). Diggs is a disgraced police dog framed for something they did not, and he sees this as an opportunity to redeem himself .. Butch Diggs and professional team reluctantly MEOWZ Catherine (Christina Applegate) in an effort to stop Kitty Galore. All three household pets must put aside their differences and prejudices on others and concentrate on finding shelter Kitty so they can stop their cowardly action.
The filmmakers must have faced an interesting problem after waiting 10 years to make a sequel. The target audience for dogs cats and films (this and original) seems to be the under 13 crowd. So 8 years old who saw the movie for the first time 10 years ago now has 18 years of age who would probably much rather watch movies about vampires and werewolves that neither dead in a show like this. So although this is a sequel with no real built-in audience.
Adults will be entertained all recognizable voices they hear. People like James Marsden, Nick Nolte, Christina Applegate, Bette Midler, Roger Moore and Katt Williams, Neil Patrick Harris, Sean Hayes, Wallace Shawn, Joe Pantoliano and Michael Clark Duncan have contributed. Bette Midler is a scream as absolute as the antagonist of Kitty Galore.
Children, especially young people, will flip for the outstanding special effects. Animals of any conversation with a realism that not often seen in movies. And the spy gadgets that use lead oohs and aahs.
One work of advice ... skip the version 3D. Probably you will be charged a premium, and those effects do not add to the experience.
Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is a film fun for the whole family can enjoy together.
